Very tasty burger on the 30 Days, I particularly loved the addition of olives, and to my surprise cooking using coconut oil!
Ingredients
500g organic grass fed beef mince
Handful chopped olives
2 red onions diced chopped
chilli (decide how spicy you like it)
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
large portabello mushrooms to form your ‘bun’
1 tbs coconut oil
Method
Saute the onions in 1/2 tbs coconut oil to soften
Add the crushed garlic and cook for a further minute
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and form into fist size burgers
Grill/ fry in the remaining coconut oil for 3-5 mins each side
Grill 2 large Portabello mushrooms to use as buns
Serve with homemade tomato sauce, guacamole and any sides (salad, sweet potato wedges, veg)
